Information Fluency

Information fluency is a a skill that builds off what you know in digital literacy. It involves being able to integrate technology with almost anything you do. Weather it be critical thinking, presentation skills or even communication skills. Information fluency is when you use technology to better enhance the aspects of your life. Instead of just telling somebody about a movie, you can use technology to show them a trailer and some reviews on it, this way you have improved your communication skills and your presentation skills at the same time. Information fluency is a new way of going about your life and the skills you have, because soon one day everything will evolve around technology, weather you are ready or not.

Creativity Fluency

The idea of creativity fluency is that one is able to represent its artistic and creative ideas through art forms such as painting, 3-D design, storytelling and many more. Some people who are very artistic or creative believe that this is the easiest way for them to express their feelings and emotion. This becomes the part of the viewer of the art, having to interpret a deeper meaning of the art and the message they were trying to get across. It is creativity fluency that makes art so fascinating, because of the messages, emotions, and stories behind it.

Media Fluency

Media fluency is the ability to be able to interpret messages within the media, along with the ability to communicate in multiple multimedia formats. Media fluency consists of two L's. The first L is listening. Listening in media fluency refers to the skill of looking at a wide range of content in media such as a website, and being able to pick out what information is important and which is not. The second L is leverage. Leverage has to do with communicating effectively with media. Finding the best way to gather the information and finding the most appropriate way of getting the message out.
